A Day Later, Trump Delivers a Message Condemning Violent Acts On Capitol Hill

A day after the violent day that broke out in the federal Capitol, President Donald Trump offered a brief message condemning what happened.

The video lasts just under three minutes and was posted on his Twitter account, which was suspended yesterday for 12 hours.

“Like all Americans, I am outraged by all the violence, disorder and uproar. I immediately activated the National Guard and federal security agencies to secure the building and remove the invaders. America is and must always be a nation of law and order, ”he said.

He added that those who committed the acts of violence and destruction “you do not represent our country. Those who violate the law will pay ”.

He stressed that a tense election process has just ended and that emotions are high, but that it is time to calm down.
