A large community of Iranians, many of them millionaires, made their fortune in the hills of Beverly Hills and now many support the Republican president despite the growing blockade of Tehran.
Some 500,000 Iranians live in Los Angeles, California, and most of them in the luxurious neighborhoods of Beverly Hills and Westwood. It is the largest Iranian community outside the Persian country. Some of them were already in the United States before the 1979 revolution, but most arrived later.RELATED

After years of strife, the problems between the United States and Iran have been escalating more and more since Donald Trump took over the American reins. But despite the recent onslaught of the US president against his country of origin, these Iranians nationalized in the United States, probably the last in many years, are, for the most part, fervent advocates of the Republican president's policies.
