Bernie Sanders Asks To Attend Community Health Centers To Address Coronavirus Emergency

Washington.- Along with 164 other congressmen, Senator Bernie Sanders (Vermont) called on the federal legislative leadership that the economic stimulus bill being negotiated in Congress include an additional $ 7,000 million to help community health centers address the emergency that causes coronavirus.

On the other hand, Senator Warren called on companies that may be excluded from the requirements to offer sick and paid family leave, as a result of the coronavirus, such as Amazon, Walmart and McDonalds, to explain the steps they take to ensure that all Employees, contractors and subcontractors of your companies have access to these benefits.

Senator Warren urged those companies to offer the 80-hour full-time sick leave allowed under the new federal law, and family leave, with two-thirds pay, for an additional 10 weeks.
