Biden Wins Kansas Mail-In Primaries

Topeka, Kansas – Joe Biden overwhelmingly won the Democratic primary in Kansas, conducted entirely by mail due to the coronavirus.

It was considered a sure thing that the former vice president would win that race on Saturday and therefore that he would take a majority of the delegates to the Democratic Party convention. Biden got 77% of the vote.

Senator Bernie Sanders was still competing by the time the authorities mailed the patterns in late March, but he eventually suspended his campaign and backed Biden.

He is even 1,435 and needs 1,991, a figure that will probably reach in June as many states have postponed their primaries. Sanders has 984 delegates according to the Associated Press count.
