Actor and comedian Jim Carrey is one of the biggest critics of the administration of US President Donald Trump. In addition to his career in Hollywood, which includes his recent participation in Sonic ’and the second season of‘ Kidding ’, Carrey has dedicated himself to being a cartoonist and political activist on Twitter.
On May 16, Carrey posted a video in which he coughs into President Trump’s face as he gives a televised speech. This gesture was made as a criticism of the management given to the health crisis by the new coronavirus in the United States, a condition that leaves more than one and a half million infected and more than 90,000 deaths in that country.

Last May 14 Carrey public another of his cartoons against the republican leader.
In this he criticizes the coverage that ‘Fox News’ has given to the situation of the new coronavirus in the country. This American media has a position that has been described as very close to Trump and, traditionally, has been characterized by its republican tendency.
In the cartoon, the President drives a Republican Party bus carrying the new coronavirus. He is heading toward a crosswalk that a blinded family of ‘Fox News’ viewers is crossing.
“When the United States needed masks, Fox News gave them blindfolds,” the drawing reads. One of the characters in the cartoon has a printed T-shirt that says “I’d rather be Russian than Democrat” and the baby’s stroller has the word ‘Doomed’ written on it.
Fox News is an American media outlet that has a pro-Trump stance and has traditionally been characterized by its Republican bias.
In another of his cartoons, published On May 11, Jim Carrey drew President Trump along with ‘Death’, who is making an insulting gesture at him with his skeleton hand. It reads “The Grim Reaper is officially jealous of Trump and the Republican Party for their ability to double the death toll.”
The United States already records more than 90,600 deaths from the new coronavirus.
On April 29, the Canadian actor made another cartoon criticizing Donald Trump after his proposal about the possibility of injecting disinfectant into the sick with the new coronavirus to kill the pathogen.
