Colorado Is Not Border With Mexico, But Trump Includes It In The List Of States With Walls

Washington – President Donald Trump boasted on Wednesday of building a part of the border wall in Colorado, which has drawn attention in the state, given that it has no border with Mexico.

Trump was speaking to the public during a conference in Pennsylvania when he included Colorado among the list of states where the border wall is built, along with New Mexico and Texas.

"We are building a wall in Colorado, we are building a beautiful wall, a very large one that really works, through which you cannot go above or below," said the president.

Colorado Democratic Governor Jared Polis and others said on social media that the state is not bordering on Mexico.

“Well, this is awkward … Colorado has no border with Mexico. The good thing is that Colorado now offers free kindergarten throughout the day, so that our children can learn basic geography, ”Polis tweeted.
