Pueblo, Colorado – A man in Colorado won two lottery jackpots with a little luck and persistence – he played the same numbers for 30 years.
Colorado lottery officials on March 25 identified the winner of the two million dollar Powerball lottery jackpots as “Joe B.” The man claimed his award on Friday, KUSA-TV reported.
Playing with the same number, the man purchased the tickets at two different stores on Lake Avenue in Pueblo, a mile (one and a half kilometers) away from each other, authorities added.
RELATED“Joe B.” She bought one ticket in the morning and the other at night, said communications director Meghan Dougherty.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, earlier this month the Colorado lottery received authorization to process tickets that have won prizes of $ 10,000 or more through a claims office where a driver can present himself, without leaving his vehicle, to a module where you don’t need to touch anything.
Winners must first make an appointment to claim their prize, or by mail.
