President Donald Trump gave these statements, after he warned the presidents of Venezuela and Nicaragua, Nicolás Maduro and Daniel Ortega, that the departure of power from his counterpart Evo Morales in Bolivia is a "strong signal" for them.
"These events send a strong signal to the illegitimate regimes in Venezuela and Nicaragua that democracy and the will of the people will always prevail," Trump said after Evo Morales left the presidency of Bolivia.
