Democratic leaders announced Tuesday that they will present two articles of political trial against President Donald Trump, accusing him of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress to launch the third political trial of a US president in history.
The announcement marks the culmination of an intense and rapid investigation into the president's dealings with Ukraine and represents a historic election for legislators less than a year before the next election.
The six Democratic House presidents who led the investigations against the President this year formally unveiled the articles of political trial on Tuesday morning with the president of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.RELATED
