The president of United States, Donald Trump, informed the departure of the interim secretary of National Security, Kevin McAleenan, ensuring that "he wants to spend more time with his family and go to the private sector."
In his Twitter account, the president reported that McAleenan has done an "exceptional job" to reduce the number of migrants trying to enter the United States through the Mexican border.
Trump congratulated McAleenan and said he will announce the new National Security secretary next week; there are "many wonderful candidates," he said.
