Donald Trump Challenges Congress By Political Trial: "If You Are Going To Dismiss Me, Do It Quickly" | U.S

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, on Thursday challenged the Democrats of the House of Representatives, who initiated an investigation to open a process of impeachment or political trial.

Through his Twiiter account, Trump asked to speed up the process. "The Democrats who did nothing yesterday had a historically bad day in the House. They have no case of political trial and are degrading our country," he wrote. "They have gone crazy. That is why I say, if you are going to dismiss me, do it now, quickly," he added.

The investigation of the Democrats to open a political trial against Donald Trump has entered a new phase with the approval of the report that will serve as the basis for their possible imputation.

That text has been prepared after more than two months of investigation by the Intelligence Committee of the Lower House, which has led so far investigations against Trump.

That document will help the Congressional Judiciary Committee decide whether to write charges against the president and recommend a political trial.

The Democrats began the process following accusations that Trump asked the President of Ukraine Vladimyr Zelensky to investigate the aspiring Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden, although the US president insists he has done nothing wrong.
