Donald Trump Denounces "foreign Efforts" In Protests In Chile

Donald Trump, President of the United States, said there is an external interference in the protests in Chile, which seeks to "undermine" the institutions.

"President Trump denounced foreign efforts to undermine Chilean institutions, democracy or society," said Judd Deere, one of the White House spokesmen as reported by the EFE Agency.

He added that "the United States supports Chile, an important ally, while working to peacefully restore its national order."

Donald Trump would have made this same trial during a phone call he had with Sebastian Piñera, who personally informed him of the cancellation of the APEC summit in Chile.

Despite the cancellation, the United States reported that the agreement announced with China to lessen the effects of the trade war that they are still standing in the same period they had already announced.

"We hope to finalize Phase 1 of the historic trade agreement with China within the same deadline, and when we have an announcement, we will let you know," said US spokesman Hogan Gidley in a statement to the news agency. AFP.
