The US president, Donald Trump, is still committed to fighting illegal immigration and to achieve this he promised to build a wall in Colorado on Wednesday, even though that state in the center of the country does not share a border with Mexico.
"Do you know why we are going to win in New Mexico? Because they want border security," Trump said during a speech in Pittsburgh.

"And we are building a wall on the border of New Mexico, and we build a wall in Colorado," he continued, promising "a magnificent wall, a great wall that really works, that cannot be passed over or under."
"And we are building a wall in Texas, and we are not building a wall in Kansas, but they will benefit from the walls I just mentioned," he added.
The construction of the wall on the border between the United States and Mexico was one of the main promises of the Republican billionaire in the 2016 election campaign, but it is taking time to materialize, as Congress refuses to unlock the necessary funds for its financing.
