Donald Trump Says That Whistleblower Must Testify

UNITED STATES.- President Donald Trump said the complainant's offer to answer written questions about his political trial is not good enough.

Trump said on Twitter: “The Complainant gave false information and dealt with the corrupt politician Schiff. It must be presented to testify. Written responses are not acceptable! Where is the second complainant? He disappeared after I published the transcript. Does he even exist? Where is the informant? Fraud!"

A lawyer of the complainant announced during the weekend that his client offered to answer the questions presented by the Republicans of the House "in writing, under oath and penalty of perjury".

The offer comes amid the growing efforts of Trump and his Republican allies to unmask the identity of the person.

The complainant provoked the political trial investigation after raising concerns about Trump's call on July 25 with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
