Washington.- The president of the United States,
Donald Trump warned this Saturday that he has in his sights
52 sites in Iran and will attack them "very soon and very hard", if Tehran were to act against US personnel or property.
In a tweet in which he defended the drone attack carried out on Friday, in which the United States killed an Iranian high general in Iraq, Trump said that 52 corresponds to the number of hostages that for more than a year were in the US embassy in Tehran since late 1979.RELATED
…. targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats! & – Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)

Meanwhile, a pro-Iranian faction in Iraq, Kataeb Hezbollah, warned Iraqi troops that
"at least 1000 meters" away from the US military bases as of this Sunday.
"We ask the security forces to move at least 1000 meters away from the US bases, starting this Sunday at 5 pm (14.00 GMT)," said the statement from Kataeb Hezbollah, which belongs to the military network of the Shiite militias Hashed al-Shaabi.
Mutual threats occur at a time when tension between Washington and Tehran grows after the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani and
today's attacks in the green zone of Baghdad where the US embassy is located.
