The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said the next G7 summit will not be in one of his golf clubs in Florida, reversing a decision that had generated allegations of corruption.RELATED
"Based on the irrational hostility of both the media and the Democrats, we will no longer consider the Trump National Doral of Miami as the headquarters of the G-7 summit in 2020," the president wrote in his Twitter account. "We will begin the search for another site, including the possibility of Camp David, immediately," he said.
….. its own 50 to 70 unit building. Would set up better than other alternatives. I announced th at I would be willing to do it at NO PROFIT or, if legally permissible, at ZERO COST to the USA. But, as usual, the Hostile Media & their Democrat Partners went CRAZY!

The interim chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, had said Thursday that the club in Florida was "the best" place among a dozen places considered for the appointment to be held between June 10 and 12, 2020.
On Friday, Democrats presented a bill in Congress to block those plans. Opponents have already opened an investigation with a view to a political trial against Trump for allegedly pressuring Ukraine to interfere in favor of his re-election in the 2020 elections.
Minimizing any ethical or legal questioning, Trump had ensured that, with the G7 summit at his resort, he would not receive "anything" of profit.
