Donald Trump launched a tweet on Tuesday expressing to the Mexican government, headed by Andrés Manuel López Obrador, his support for fighting organized crime, after activist Julián LeBarón requested help from the US president.
Trump indicated that
a “wonderful family and friends from Utah were caught between two vicious
drug cartels that shot at each other, killing many
Americans. "
The president said he is willing to help the Mexican government in case they need support to face the "monsters" and stressed that Andrés Manuel López Obrador is doing a good job, but that organized crime has gained a lot of strength in our country.

"If Mexico needs or asks for help to get rid of those monsters, the United States is ready, willing and able to participate and do the work quickly and effectively."
"The great president of Mexico has made this a great issue, but the cartels have become such large and powerful groups that sometimes an army is needed to defeat an army."
Trump made these statements after nine members of Julián LeBarón's family were killed, including six minors.
Mexico investigates the crime
The Mexican government since last night deployed an operation with elements of the National Guard, the Army and the state police before the denunciation of the aggression, murder and disappearance of members of the LeBaron family.
This morning Alfonso Durazo indicated that the van where the family was traveling could have been confused with members of a criminal group that disputes the area between Chihuahua and Sonora and highlighted the presence of members of the Pacific Cartel in the area.
