Washington – President Donald Trump won the state of Alaska, giving him three votes in the Electoral College for a total of 217 so far. Joe Biden currently has 290 electoral votes.
His Democratic opponent was declared the winner of the presidential election on November 7 by exceeding the necessary minimum of 270 votes in the Electoral College. Biden won the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, where Trump prevailed in 2016.
The Associated Press has yet to declare a winner in the presidential race in the states of Georgia and North Carolina.RELATED
Republican Dan Sullivan won a Senator seat from Alaska. The majority in the upper house will be resolved in January, when the tiebreakers take place in Georgia.
