The Spanish Society for Preventive Medicine, Public Health and Hygiene (SEMPSPH) considers it necessary to continue making diagnostic tests, isolations and contact tracing as the central axis of the response to the Covid-19 coronavirus.RELATED
“It is key to carry out the tests on a larger population, both vulnerable people and those who remain in the home with symptoms of the disease, since this contributes to the early diagnosis of the disease and the adoption of measures to prevent its spread” , they affirm in a statement.
These experts call on the population as a whole to continue complying with the Government’s confinement order and the preventive measures recommended by the health authorities to avoid community transmission. “We are reaching the most difficult moment of the pandemic in our country. During this week and the next, the number of confirmed cases will continue to increase, but it is to be expected that if we all act responsibly and follow the recommendations, we will begin to notice an improvement; as it is happening in Italy and previously happened in Wuhan “, they assure.
