The Dominican reliever tested positive for doping in Major League Baseball (MLB – Major League Baseball).
Emmanuel Class of the Cleveland Indians received an 80-game suspension from MLB for doping.
Class tested positive for Boldenone (PED) banned.
RELATEDThe pitcher was acquired by the Indians on the move from Corey Kluber to the Texas Rangers.
It is not precisely known when the positive Class doping test was recorded, although it is likely that it was done before the major league hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).
Class would have had an opportunity to appeal the suspension before it was announced by MLB.
