IRS Whistleblower Says a Government Official Tried To Interfere In Trump And Pence’s Tax Audit

An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official filed a complaint detailing that at least one official appointed by President Trump’s government to the Treasury Department attempted to improperly interfere with the annual audit of the tax returns. taxes of the president or vice president, several people familiar with the document were told The Washington Post.

Trump’s government officials dismissed the complaint by calling it unsound or weak because it is based on conversations with other government officials.

The complainant’s complaint focuses on the integrity of the government system to audit the tax returns of President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden.

He would be the second complainant that appears since an intelligence official filed an anonymous complaint more than a week ago stating that President Trump discussed by telephone with his counterpart from Ukraine ways to investigate in that European country the son of former Vice President Joe Biden for alleged practices corrupt so far unconfirmed as a manager of a Ukrainian hydrocarbons company.
