Jackson Jr., Morant Lead Grizzlies To Victory Over Spurs

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, USA (AP) – Jaren Jackson Jr. f inished with 24 points, Ja Morant contributed 22 and broke his personal record with 14 assists, and the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday added their fourth straight win by defeating the San Antonio Spurs 134-121.

Dillon Brooks scored 22 units and Jonas Valanciunas had 21 for Memphis, who finished with six players in double figures.

The victory puts the Grizzlies ahead of the Spurs, by percentage of points, in the eighth position of the Western Conference.

DeMar DeRozan matched his best record of the season with 36 points and distributed nine assists for the Spurs. LaMarcus Aldridge and Bryn Forbes scored 21 points each and combined to score 9 of 17 from the triple line. Rudy Gay contributed 13 units.
