Jose Ramirez Is Creating An MVP Case

Although the Major League Baseball season hasn’t reached the month of action, José Ramirez, Cleveland Guardians’ Dominican third baseman, is the best way to be reconsidered as an American candidate for the League’s Most Valuable Player Award. I’m setting his record.

His batting average was .347, on-base percentage .407, and slugging percentage .708 after the match on Thursday, when the Guardians lost to the Angels of Anaheim 4-1 and Ramirez scored two at bats with four at bats. It is 7-12, the fourth in AL Central.

He is a 25 RBI leader and his OPS is second only to Mike Trout (1,256) in the American League. He has six doubles and six home runs, making him the third with 25 hits after Ty France (29). Xander Bogaerts (27).

It may be premature to talk about the end-of-season awards, but Ramirez’s hot start is “Mr. Rapala” this year.

Ramirez secured the future by signing a contract extension earlier this month that would bring US $ 124 million over the next five years. Reassurance is an advantage for him. His current only concern is that he is considered one of the best third basemen in business today.

3 times the all-star

Ramirez has participated in three All-Star games (2017, 18, 21), and this wonderful start will allow him to build his fourth career in the mid-term classics in Los Angeles this July.

He won the Best Player Award three times, finished third in voting in 2017 and 2018, hit 17 home runs in the 2020 pandemic season, took the lead in scoring, and finished second in voting. Was (45) and RBI46.

Hitting .300 is one of his main goals this season, and this aristocratic mark will bring him closer to the award if he continues to produce in other categories of the game.

Ramirez is ridiculous

A home run on September 22, 2020 gave Indians a post-season berth. To wish him good luck, he used the bat that Rajai Davis hit a home run to conclude Round 7 of the 2016 World Series with the Chicago Cubs. ..
