Las Vegas – A man and his underage friend wearing what appeared to be a protective suit tried over the weekend to mischief on social media inside a Walmart store when they sprayed water from a bottle onto food, carts, and hands from customers.
Customers and employees were alarmed and did not know what liquid was being sprayed Saturday night, according to a police report. As a precautionary measure, they closed the store for several hours until agents decided it was safe.
Las Vegas police arrested 23-year-old Aldo Gonzalez of Las Vegas and his friend, who was not identified as a minor, according to KVVU-TV.
RELATEDThe minor was wearing a painter’s suit, gloves, and glasses, and not a protective suit as witnesses first thought, according to the report.
GonzĂĄlez was jailed on suspicion of dispersing a misleading substance and posted a $ 5,000 bond.
He did not have an attorney who could be reached for comment.
