Mario Abdo Benítez and the accompanying entourage departed from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport after 11:30, after the act of transferring command to Vice President Hugo Velázquez, said Last Hour journalist Roberto Santander.

The meeting between the two leaders will be on December 13 at 11.00 in the White House, located in Washington.
Months ago, Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump visited the country as well as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Among the issues to be addressed by Mario Abdo and Donald Trump are the fight against drug trafficking, money laundering and organized crime.
During a meeting of the United Nations, in September 2018, in New York, Abdo Benítez and Trump had already met in a protocol greeting.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Juan Ernesto Villamayor mentioned that it will be Abdo, who on his return will give details of the meeting with Trump.
On the prohibition of entry into the country that the American government ordered against former Senator Óscar Ginzález Daher and former State Attorney General Javier Díaz de Verón, Villamayor simply said that it is an "administrative decision."
Without delving into the subject, he mentioned that "every country has a right to restrict" the entry of people to their territories, said the journalist Roberto Santander.
“It is an administrative act is not a jurisdictional act and since it is not a jurisdictional act it is not related to a principle of innocence or due process, but with sovereign actions. He does not declare anyone guilty or innocent. It is a sovereign decision and must be respected, ”he insisted.
