MINNESOTA (AP) – Khris Middleton had 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in three quarters Wednesday as the Milwaukee Bucks easily edged the Minnesota Timberwolves 130-105.
Brook Lopez added 18 points and eight boards, while Jrue Holiday had 15 points and three steals. The Bucks had a 30-point lead early in the fourth quarter, en route to their second consecutive beating win.
After losing six of nine games, the Bucks beat the Orlando Magic 124-87 on Sunday.
Anthony Edwards had 24 points, making 5 of 11 3-pointers for the Timberwolves, who have lost 11 of their last 15.
The Bucks were without reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who missed the sixth straight game with a left knee injury. They are 3-3 in this span.
The Timberwolves also didn’t have their best player, Karl-Anthony Towns, who missed his second game in a row. His absence was for personal reasons, on the first anniversary of the death of his Dominican mother from COVID-19.
