The president of the United States, Donald Trump, received on Monday at the White House the champions of the World Baseball Series, the Washington Nationals. However, it went through an awkward moment.
Pitcher Stephen Strasburg made a speech during the ceremony, but at the end he ignored Trump's greeting. This fact was viralized in social networks.
Even the Nationals pitcher, winner of the World Series MVP, joked on his Twitter account, in which he shared the video accompanied by the phrase "Fake News," an expression widely used by Trump.RELATED

For his part, the president applauded the first victory of the Nationals in the World Series, calling it "historic comeback" and predicting that it will be the first of many wins.
Reliever Sean Doolittle, who along with his wife has worked with Syrian refugees and military veterans and supports gay rights, did not attend the event.
Also among those who did not attend were the MVP candidate of the National League, the Mexican-born Anthony Rendon, as well as Michael Taylor, Joe Ross, the Dominicans Victor Robles and Wander Suero and the Mexican Javy Guerra.
