Nationals Will Visit Donald Trump At The White House On Monday

The Washington Nationals, which will have a parade to celebrate their World Series title on Saturday, will visit President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday, according to a White House official.

The ceremony for the Nationals will be held in South Lawn at 1:15 p.m. ET on Monday, the official said.

The Nationals won the first World Series in their history by defeating the Houston Astros on Wednesday in seven games.

It will be the third team that visits Trump after winning the scepter, joining the Astros and the Boston Red Sox, despite the fact that a dozen of his players and his manager Alex Cora did not attend.

The Nationals celebration parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. ET, near the Washington Monument and ending near the Capitol.

The Washington Capitals of the NHL announced that they will honor the Nationals in a ceremony before Sunday's game against Calgary Flames.
