Alert Of A Bug In Whatsapp That Allowed To See Your Conversations With A Gif

Now You Can Avoid Being Added To Group Chats On WhatsApp

One of the advantages offered by WhatsApp, the most popular instant messaging application in the world, is the possibility of creating groups between three or more contacts to interact in a chat.

However, this function is not liked by all users, and more so if they are people who are added in several groups and receive countless messages throughout the day.

That is why, thinking about them, the platform developed a tool that allows you to prevent other users from adding you to a group chat, unless you have your prior permission.

This function was announced since the beginning of the year, and can already be used in the beta version of WhatsApp, so if you want to be among the first to know it, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the application, which could make the new tool appears, although you should not forget to make a backup of your chats first.

Once you do this, you will have to go to the configuration menu of the app, select settings – account – privacy, and that is where you can access several options, one of which allows you to configure this new tool.

To do this you must select "groups", and in this section you will see the option "Who can add me to the groups".

WhatsApp allows you to choose between three options: all, my contacts, or my contacts except … In case of choosing this last alternative you will have to select the specific contact [s] to whom you want to block the option of adding us to a group chat

But if you are not a beta user, do not worry, as this new function may be available in the coming days for both Android and iOS mobile phones.
