Pacers Beat Rockets, Suffering 4th Setback In a Row

HOUSTON (AP) – Caris LeVert added 27 points, Domantas Sabonis added 22 and Malcolm Brogdon fell close to a triple-double for the Indiana Pacers, who beat the Houston Rockets 132-124 on Wednesday night.

In January, LeVert was involved in the colossal trade that sent James Harden from Houston to Brooklyn and Victor Oladipo from Indiana to the Rockets. Oladipo’s hardships during his brief stint in Houston contrasted with LeVert’s strong performance with the Pacers.

He has scored at least 20 points in five of his last seven games.

Sabonis was dominant in the painting. He made 10 of 18 shots from the field, in addition to grabbing 11 rebounds and distributing seven assists. Brogdon fell within one assist of what would have been the second triple-double of his career and the first since his rookie season in 2016-17.

He had 23 points, nine assists and 13 rebounds, two less than the maximum in his life.
