On the occasion of World Psoriasis Day to be celebrated on October 29, APAPSO PERU (Association of Psoriasis and Psoriasic Arthritis) has created the #ConoceLaPsoriasis campaign, which aims to raise awareness and raise awareness in society about psoriasis and motivate people who suffer it to overcome their fears.
As part of this campaign, prominent Peruvian illustrators and designers such as Kimi, Nala, among others; They have collaborated informing and solidarity with those who suffer from this pathology, through the creation of original illustrations and graphics that will be shared during the month of October on social networks and digital screens in Lima.
In addition, this year also the students of the Digital Animation, Direction and Graphic Design, and Advertising Direction and Design of Toulouse Lautrec, who have developed creative illustrations that seek to raise awareness and improve this problem.
"It is important to sensitize the population about the social and psychological impact of psoriasis and communicate to those who suffer that it is possible to achieve better control of symptoms and a better quality of life, adopting an active role against the disease", says Karina Chávez, president of APAPSO PERÚ.
As part of its activities for World Psoriasis Day, APAPSO Peru is organizing the "II Peruvian Congress of Psoriasis and Psoriasic Arthritis Patients".
This congress will address the main issues related to treatments to control psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and issues related to daily living with the disease from a social point of view, general health and food care, psychological aspects, among others .
The II Peruvian Congress of Psoriasis and Psoriasic Arthritis Patients will be held on Sunday, October 27 at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the College of Architects of Peru (Av.
