INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) – Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Odell Beckham Jr. caught touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams came out of a three-game losing streak with a win Sunday of 37-7 over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Stafford had 295 yards in the air and Sony Michel had 121 yards and a rushing touchdown for the Rams (8-4), who bounced back from a winless November with a solid performance against a struggling opponent. Kupp reached 100 receptions in an astonishing season among his eight catches for 129 yards.
RELATEDStafford also regained his level in a game without turnovers after suffering six of them during the three-game debacle that threatened to thwart the Rams’ playoff plans. Los Angeles has yet to lose four straight games under head coach Sean McVay in half a decade.
Rookie Trevor Lawrence threw for 145 yards for the Jaguars (2-10), who suffered their fourth straight loss.
Jacksonville turned the ball over twice and struggled to jump-start his offense against a stellar Los Angeles defense, adding just 197 total yards.
The Rams defense dominated Lawrence and his offense in the first half except for a 73-yard drive that culminated in a one-yard rushing touchdown by Carlos Hyde.
