Buffalo Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes underwent groin surgery on Thursday, according to a photo of his wife posted on her personal Instagram account.
The surgery was the second for the player so far this offseason. In January he was taken to the operating room to repair ligaments in his wrist, an injury he suffered during the last preseason.
Hughes lost practical time during the campaign due to a groin injury, but he played every game, including the wild card round against the Houston Texans.RELATED
The tenth year veteran participated in the 16 regular season games for the eighth consecutive year. 31-year-old Hughes, who signed for two campaigns for $ 21 million before 2019, scored 4.5 catches and six tackles for loss of yards in 2019.
