New York – Senator Josh hawley found a new publisher after Simon & Schuster withdrew its book in the wake of the siege of the U.S. Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump.
Conservative publisher Regnery announced Monday that Hawley’s “The Tyranny of Big Tech” will be out this spring.
“Regnery is proud to stand in the gap with him. And the warning in his book on censorship obviously couldn’t be more urgent, “Regnery president and publisher Thomas Spence said in a statement.RELATED
Hawley, a Missouri Republican, has been widely condemned for encouraging the January 6 protest that ended with a violent mob sweeping through the Capitol.
Thousands of people had gathered that day as Congress voted to formally certify Joe Biden’s victory over Trump. Hawley and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, also the author of the Regnery, led Senate objections to Biden’s victory, citing unsubstantiated claims that the election was stolen.
