Stephen Curry Will Remain Without Activity With Warriors

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Stephen Curry hoped to play for the Golden State Warriors on Sunday in the home game against the Washington Wizards after being out of activity for four months, but he still won’t be able to return from a broken left hand Golden State reported Saturday that Curry was participating in the practice test games and “continues to make good progress in his recovery.” He plans to train on Monday with the G-League Santa Cruz Warriors, the commercial name of the NBA development league, and hopes to play again in March, Warriors said. Coach Steve Kerr had said before the game Tuesday against Sacramento who expected Curry to return for the duel against Washington. But the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player award winner will be reviewed again on Saturday to determine his situation. Curry has only played four games of the season, falling on his hand on October 30 in the duel against the Suns. The Warriors faced Phoenix on Saturday, plunged into a losing streak of eight games.
