Drafting sports, Feb 16 (EFE) .- The Chinese Spanish Xuetong Cai got his sixth Crystal Globe on Sunday that accredits him as a winner of the snowboarding World Cup in the halfpipe mode after winning the fifth test, played in Calgary (Canada).

The eight finalists in Calgary played the title three rounds and the scores were low, below 90 points.

Xuetong Cai already won the first round victory with 87.25 points, a result that highlighted her over compatriot Jiayu Liu in the fight for the Crystal Globe.

Liu secured the bronze in the test thanks to a first round of 81.00 points (improved with a third of 82.75) and, therefore, the silver in the World Cup.

The Spanish Queralt Castellet won the bronze medal in the World Cup after qualifying sixth in Calgary. The Barcelona rider returned with the bronze medal in a season in which she has 4 medals in 8 tests and has made a podium in three of the four ‘grand slams’ disputed, in the absence of the US Open.

The American Maddie Mastro occupied the fourth position in both the Calgary test and the world championship.
