What should have been a parade without an audience in Valencia has ended in agglomerations of families and pedestrians in front of the City Hall, where the mayor Joan Ribó and several councilors have received their Majesties the Kings of the East. The parade has started from three different points of the city and has crossed several arteries in which the residents have been able to see the Kings briefly.
The initial forecast of the municipal officials was to reduce the parade to a transfer of the Kings and a brief reception by the council. However, upon arrival at the City Hall, when the only planned reception ceremony was held, dozens of spectators gathered in a recently pedestrianized and very crowded square.RELATED
The images, posted on Twitter by a user, contrast with the measures to tighten the restrictions announced this Tuesday by the Valencian Government, which include the advance of the curfew and the closure of bars and restaurants, given the serious situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
