And it was that the director of Once Upon a Time in … Hollywood began his film career far away from the cameras, working as a clerk in a video store from where he recommended to customers interesting, unknown or undervalued movies. And although with the premiere of Reservoir Dogs in 1992 Tarantino became the first “movie director-rock star”, the truth is that his passion for making known and value “hidden jewels” remains intact almost 30 years later.
