They Attack Trump Supporters In San Francisco

A demonstration by conservative free speech activists ended abruptly on Saturday in downtown San Francisco when hundreds of counter-protesters who appeared in the area in greater numbers attacked the former, one of whom even suffered a hit in the street. mouth.

An Associated Press service photographer witnessed the moment an ambulance took away a Team Save America activist and also saw an injured police officer on the ground at the side of United Nations Plaza in San Francisco.

Team Save America organized the march to protest against Twitter, which, it said, suppresses conservative discourse on that platform.

Members of the group wore President Donald Trump’s campaign caps with the legend “Make America Great Aga in” (Let’s Make America Great Again) as well as flags of the “Thin Blue Line” in support of the police and American flags.

Philip Anderson, organizer of the event, published photographs on social networks in which he appears with a bleeding mouth, without a front tooth and another hanging. He noted that anti-fascist protesters attacked him “for no reason.”

Anderson took the stage around 1:00 pm and was greeted with choirs and plastic water bottles and glass bottles thrown over a barrier of police officers.

The event was canceled although members of both parties remained in the area during the afternoon.

The San Francisco Police Department said three officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries when they were attacked with irritant spray and caustic substances. An agent was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the department said.

No arrests were made, he added.

Anderson described the counter-protesters as hypocrites and noted that they are the reason why he will vote for President Donald Trump.

“I love the United States, I love this country and I love freedom of expression,” he said.
